This is a record of a remarkably varied work experience, resulting from 14 years at the Atomic Weapons Research Establishment of the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority, 19 years with the New Zealand Department of Scientific & Industrial Research, and from 1992 to 2003 with the commercial metamorphosis of the DSIR, Industrial Research Limited. In 2003, Applied Physics Limited was registered as a private company in New Zealand.
